Beverly Hills Wine Cellar Design by Coastal and Design Rescue LA
Catherine Lamson, from Design Rescue LA, has joined with Coastal Custom Wine Cellars, to help create a stunning and interesting wine rack design and construction. In collaboration with Catherine, the Coastal Custom Wine Cellars team will be creating a 3D design portfolio, with which to show their clients the various wine cellar types available to suit their needs.
The three dimensional design provided by Coastal Custom Wine Cellars shows the multiple angles of the wine room. Also, for the clients to get an overview of what is best suited for the available space in their home before the installation begins.
For a past project, the Beverly Hills wine cellar design and construction process began in January and March of the year 2014, and was completed in June 2014. As for the design of the wine cellar, the Coastal Team proposed an area measuring 13’ wide x 4’ deep x 8’ height, and made use of a unified glass wall to further highlight the bottle of wines collected by the owner.
The Wine Racking System from Iron Wine Cellars
In the construction of the wine rack design by Coastal, Mahogany was used for wine cellar racks, with a chestnut stain and satin finish. To prevent breakage and damage, there is a 4-inch toe kick base underneath the racking system, which elevates the wine cellar unit several inches from the floor, coupled with base moldings for aesthetic appeal.
Beverly Hills Residential Wine Room
The Beverly Hills residential wine room is made with a new level of wine cellar designs. There is an open tabletop area in the top half of the wine cellar, so anyone can easily open and enjoy their bottle of wine. Respectively, a single bottle for storage measures around 3 3/4” x 3 3/4”, and can accommodate 750 ml bottles.
LED lighting is also installed, to illuminate the client’s wines. This type of lighting also enhances the overall aesthetics of the residential wine room, and minimizes power consumption.
